GD is an open source code library for the dynamic creation of images by programmers. GD is written in C, and "wrappers" are available for Perl, PHP and other languages. GD creates PNG, JPEG and GIF images, among other formats.

Recently, i have configured the GD library for PHP. Here i put my first code using the imagecreate() function, the example is:

The monday i recived the confirmation that my conference was accepted in Congreso Internacional Global: "Networking into the Future" 2 organized by The International Higher Education Foundation (FESI). The event will to be in The Emporio Hotel the next 21, 22 and 23 in Veracruz, Mexico.

Patent absurdity

Richard Stallman says in a article write the past monday, the absurdity of the Software Patent, he explains as the Patents work differently. They cover ideas - each patent is a monopoly on practising some idea, which is described in the patent itself.

Here's one example of a hypothetical literary patent:

Claim 1: a communication process that represents, in the mind of a reader, the concept of a character who has been in jail for a long time and becomes bitter towards society and humankind.

Claim 2: a communication process according to claim 1, wherein said character subsequently finds moral redemption through the kindness of another.

Claim 3: a communication process according to claims 1 and 2, wherein said character changes his name during the story.

Yesterday in the night, i was thought about what application is necessary for put a radio station in Internet? The request was Icecast2.

Icecast is an audio broadcast system that streams music in both MP3 and Ogg Vorbis format. It is available under the terms of the GNU GPL. The Icecast Project home page is located at Icecast.org. Source code, related software, documentation and links to other streaming audio sources, are available off this site. When referring to the project itself, Icecast is uppercased.

The Icecast project includes a variety of other programs. When discussing the icecast program only, the name is lowercased. Icecast normally uses port 8000. Originally ports 8000 and 8001 were used.
